Spectrum Update and Service Enhancements Q2'2019

Dear Friends,

We are delighted to provide our clients, advisory partners, professional connections, and key contacts with our quarterly business update. In summary, Spectrum was thrilled to celebrate its 41st birthday on July 3, 2019. We would like to thank everyone who has been part of this incredible journey with us. Please join us on Monday, August 26, for our signature annual charity fundraiser, the Spectrum Open Golf Tournament and Dinner Event. Finally, we are excited to announce that Spectrum launched an ERISA Wrap Document Wizard. This wizard makes ERISA Health and Welfare Document Compliance very easy for employers. Take advantage of our launch promotion, which saves over 20%, and get compliant today!

If you offer any health or welfare benefit plans to employees (ex. group medical), then you need to satisfy ERISA Plan Document Requirements. Unfortunately, many employers rely only on an insurance company's benefits summary. This is a mistake, as benefit summaries are likely inadequate and do not include required ERISA language. Not including ERISA required language can leave employers unprotected. In addition, failure to comply can be costly for employers in the form of fines and penalties. However, fear not, Spectrum's ERISA Wrap Document Wizard makes compliance simple and easy. In just a few minutes an employer can easily generate a plan document, which conveniently wraps around other governing documents for health and welfare programs. Our package includes a Summary Plan Description (SPD), which employers can provide to plan participants. We are happy to fulfill the SPD to plan participants if their addresses are on file with us. Please contact your Spectrum Account Manager if you are interested in our fulfillment service.

On Monday, August 26, 2019, Spectrum is proud to host and again be the headline sponsor of the Spectrum Open Golf Tournament and Dinner Event. Proceeds from the event benefit the Pano Koumantaros Cancer Research Fund, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Tax ID: 47-2592539 (the "Fund"). The Fund is named after Spectrum's Founder, Pano Koumantaros, who lost a 6-month battle with bladder cancer in December 2005. Held each summer since 2006 at Fircrest Golf Club, the Spectrum Open Golf Tournament and Dinner Event has raised over $1.5 Million for the Fund and is one of the Fund's major annual fundraising events. The annual event celebrates Pano's love of life, family, friends, good food and wine, and golf. Can't participate in the event, but want to offer support? Please feel free to give a gift.
