The Spectrum Open
Spectrum is proud to host and be the headline sponsor of the Spectrum Open Golf Tournament and Dinner Event ("Spectrum Open").
Proceeds from the Spectrum Open benefit the Pano Koumantaros Cancer Research Fund, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Tax ID: 47-2592539 (the "Fund"). The Fund is named after Spectrum's Founder, Panayotis "Pano" Koumantaros, who lost a 6-month battle with bladder cancer in December 2005. The Fund was created to support cancer research, treatment and care initiatives throughout Puget Sound.
Held each summer since 2006 at Fircrest Golf Club, the Spectrum Open has raised more than $1.6 Million for the Fund, and is one of the Fund's major annual fundraising events.
The Spectrum Open celebrates Pano's love of life, family, friends, good food and wine, and golf. The golf tournament format is a 4-person scramble and awards champions to teams with the lowest gross score, lowest net score, and mixed gender lowest net score.
