About the Spectrum Open

The Spectrum Open debuted in September 2006, following the untimely passing of Spectrum's founder, Panayotis "Pano" Koumantaros in December 2005. The event celebrates Pano's love of family, fellowship, life, golf, and good food and wine. All proceeds from the event benefit the Pano Koumantaros Cancer Research Fund.

About the Pano Koumantaros Cancer Research Fund

The Pano Koumantaros Cancer Research Fund is named after an immigrant, entrepreneur, philanthropist, devoted husband, and loving father, who tragically lost a 6-month battle with bladder cancer in December 2005. The Fund's mission is to eradicate cancer by providing funding in support of cancer research, treatment, and care initiatives. The Pano Koumantaros Cancer Research Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Tax ID: 47-2592539
